Roger Taylor

MADRID: Roger L. "Bucky" Taylor Jr. passed away on July 26, 2014 after injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.  Bucky as he was fondly known by was born on June 15, 1980 in Potsdam to Roger L. and Barb (Barkley) Taylor. He graduated from Madrid-Waddington Central School in 2000, and started work with the Carpenters Union. At one time he was a forklift operator working at ACCO. He later went to work for the Vermont Railroad as an engineer for six years, and then worked for CSX for three years as a conductor. Bucky loved to build custom motorcycles with is best friend, his dad, they worked side by side at T-N-T Customs which they owned and operated for a brief time. Those who were lucky enough to know Bucky knew he had contagious smile and exuberant personality. He loved spending time with his family, and especially his children, and was loved by his dog Ruby. Bucky leaves behind his parents Roger and Barb Taylor of Madrid, his wife Jennifer of Waddington, three children, Dylan, Zoey and Blake, his paternal grandmother, Connie Taylor of Canton, his two sisters, Kylie and Dave Odendahl of Madrid, and Wendy and Troy Miller of Canton, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Carmen Barkley and paternal grandfather Glen Taylor.
