Dana Byrd

Dana died Monday February 7th 2005 in the town of Phila-delphia of injuries suffered in a head-on collision with a tow truck on Route 26.

He was a first-year student in the computer technology program at Canton College of Technology.

Born Oct. 19, 1981, in Montpelier, Vt., son of Edward "Midge" and Susan Dumas Byrd, he graduated from Madrid-Waddington High School in 2000. While in school he was active in the Boy Scouts of America and had obtained the Life Achievement badge.

He married Kellie Pullen on Nov. 8, 2002, in Waddington.

Surviving besides his wife and a daughter, Kaden S., both of Hamburg, are a son, Isaac McDonald, Massena; his parents, a brother, Nathan, and his maternal grandparents, Keith and Alice Dumas, all of Waddington; his paternal grandparents, Donald Byrd, Duxbury, Vt., and Carolyn Earle, Eden, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
