John H. Rodak Jr., a lifelong resident of Mahopac, NY died unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday July 6, 2012. He was 48. John was born in Peekskill, NY on September 6, 1963, the son of John and Marie Mantovi Rodak who predeceased him.

John graduated Mahopac High School in 1982 and was employed in the Mahopac Central School District.

John, who always had a ready smile, loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sisters, Sherene Piqueras, her husband Nick and their children Nick, John and Ashley of Mahopac and Debbie Harney, her husband James and their children Jaimie and Jessica of Hopewell Junction, NY, his surviving aunts and uncles, Joseph and Phyllis Mantovi, Anna Hongach, Sandy and Charles Fragala and Sharon Madrak, as well as his cousins including John Astrologo whom he thought of as a brother.
