Since we graduated, I went to NOVA for a year then JMU for the rest of college, earning a degree in Psychology. Ended up bartending/waitressing for awhile in Manassas after that (crossing paths with some of you), while living out in Gainesville with some class of '95 people. I was a member of AmeriCorps for a year during that time, still working in the restaurant to make some real money. In AmeriCorps, I worked as a Youth Volunteer Program Coordinator...a great learning experience. Headed to Richmond, looking for a place to hang my hat for awhile. Ended up back in Northern VA after a year for a few months before I finally made my way north to NYC. Landed a job at Time Inc. and have been there since Jan of 2006 - at People.com for all but my first two months at the company. I love living in New York...and adore Brooklyn, where my apartment is. In March, I moved to my second apartment in Brooklyn...which happened to be right across the street from my brother's place (I had no idea of this when I scheduled an appointment to see it). It's been fun being so close to him. I'm 3 subway stops from some of my friends from high school that are up here. I love riding my bike around on the weekends. I still stay in touch with some of my good buddies from OHS. Unreal that it's been 10 years already.
