Terry Michael Edde

 

Funeral service for Terry Michael Edde will be held Wednesday 2:00PM at the chapel of Manchester Funeral Home with Brother Keith Sims and Mr. Greg Mitchel officiating. Interment will be at the Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9PM at the chapel for family and friends.

Mr. Edde passed away April 18, 2010, at Medical Center of Manchester at the age of 54. He worked for many years building cabinets and owned his own shop, and recently worked at the Coffee County Farmers Co-Op. Mr. Edde attended the Friendship Baptist Church at Blanton’s Chapel. He was a loving husband, father, “Poppy”, bother, son, uncle and friend to everyone he met. He loved his Harley and was a member of Bumpus Harley Club in Murfreesboro. He loved watching his grandchildren play ball, and he was an avid hunter. He enjoyed going hunting with close friends.

Mr. Edde is preceded in death by his father, Donald Edde and his grandmother, Ola Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Edde of Manchester; mother, Annie Sue (George) Vandagiff of Manchester; sons, Kevin Lee Rutledge and girlfriend Dawn Hogan of Wayne County TN; Marc Alan (Amy Nicole) Rutledge of Manchester; brother, Donald Keith (Shirley) Edde of Manchester; two sisters, Rebecca Diane Edde Turpin of Manchester and LaDonna Sue Edde (John) Hill of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, DaKota Lance, K.J., Cameron Trey, Nate Alan Rutledge; and numerous nieces, nephews, bothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and cousins.

Terry was a sweet person and lots of fun.  His passing was a sad time.  He was a talented cabinet builder and I have a home full of the cabinets he built and installed.  They are just a little more special than any normal cabinets now.  I and a lot of other people miss him a lot and always will.
