Biography

Funeral services for Connie Ann Kennedy, age 53 of Manchester, will be conducted Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jim Rolen and Rev. Greg Nash officiating services. Burial to follow in Kennedy Cemetery. Visitation with the Kennedy family will be Friday evening, January 23 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Kennedy passed away Wednesday, January 21 at her home.

Connie Ann Kennedy was born June 15, 1955 in Coffee County to Eva Ann Roberts Farrar and the late Robert Lee Farrar. Mrs. Kennedy was employed with Batesville Casket Company for over 30 years in the Distribution Department. She was an avid animal lover and adored her grandchildren.

Her survivors include her husband David Kennedy of Manchester; two sons, Jamie (Veronica) Bryan of Manchester, Justin (Sandra) Bryan of McMinnville; brothers, Jeffery (Jeana) Farrar of Manchester, Roger (Georgie) Farrar of McMinnville; one sister, Debra (Winfield) Stacey of Manchester; grandchildren, Jayson Lee and Aimee Grace Bryan, Tristan Alexander Lee and Arwen Lynn Bryan, all of Manchester, Gavin Spakes of McMinnville, and a loving grandson on the way, Jasper Lee Bryan, Sam and Ben Myers of Manchester, and Madison, Megan and Will of Summitville; other children, David Kennedy Jr. of Sparta, Lynn (Mark) Myers of Manchester, Rachel (Daniel) Freeze of Summitville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Coffee County Animal Shelter and/or Temple Baptist Christian School.
