Obituary for Scot Hamilton Farrar

Scot Hamilton Farrar, age 63, passed away on May 28, 2018, at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born in Manchester, Tennessee on February 19, 1955 to the late Dr. Clarence and Frances Farrar. Scot was a UT Football letterman and enjoyed a fruitful career in Real Estate. He never met a stranger. Scot was an avid fisherman, but his best job was that of being G-Diddy to his adoring granddaughter. Scot is survived by his wife of 44 years, Connie Webber Farrar; daughter, Ashley (John) Tipton; granddaughter, Frances Isabel Grace “Figgy”; sister, Stephanie (Mike) Brice; nieces and nephews; extended family and many lifelong friends. The family will receive friends 5-6:45pm on Thursday at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with a service to celebrate Scot’s life to follow at 7pm, Rev. Larry Trotter, officiant. Burial will be at 1pm CST Friday at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Manchester, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association www.heart.org or Immune Deficiency Foundation www.primaryimmune.org.
