Homewood Suites? La Quinta? Marriott Courtyard?

Post which hotel you are staying at? Lucky for me, my BFF Megan Eckert is letting me crash at her house!

Also, if you are bringing your kids, post that...maybe y'all can coordinate a time to swim in the pools and wear the kiddos out!

Lastly, maybe if someone has a responsible teen babysitter you can post that as well. There may be a need for a few folks!

Thanks!

FYI

Booked rooms at Country Inn & Suites in covington for $75/night.

Looks like a fairly new place.

That's great Jean! Good thing you called around. We didn't call ALL the hotels, so glad you found a deal!

I am a smart shopper and got the Mariot Courtyard for $60 a night!! REG.-$109

The cheapest I found in search was $75 at a 2-star Hotel

$95.00 for Laquinta are you kidding me?....blah

MY Hubby is spoiled, he wanted hotel with whirlpool, what can I say...LOL

I go to alot of conventions and have learned group rates are always higher than rooms they are desperately trying to book at classy hotels.

$60 a room at Marriot is better than them having $0 with empty rooms!

0% of zero is still $0 for them and they will gladly take your offer of $60 to fill all their rooms that weekend at cut rates.

What I did was go to priceline.com,click on name your own price, select 3-star hotels, select Covington area and put in price of $60 they will put you at one of the many 3-star hotels like Marriot or Holiday INN. I got Marriot REG - $109 a Night for $60.
