Mike (Mikey) Sol was a dear teammate, classmate, and friend. Michael was the first person that I can remember being friends with, living across the street from me growing up for 13 years. We enjoyed countless memories together along with other neighborhood buddies, and as we got older played along side eachother playing for the Indians.
I will always miss Michael, and if there is something that I will always remember about Michael it would be his smile and laugh. He was also a tough, as he had to be being the youngest of a large family which I also love dearly.
I remember the time in Spanish class when he offered to fix my reading glasses. (One of the lenses had popped out and I was struggling to insert it back into place.) Twice he offered to help me, and twice I refused, but I could tell he was getting frustrated watching me not being able to fix it and knowing he could, so he just blurted, "Erin! Give me the damn glasses!" I was so startled that I simply handed them over to him! It's sad to hear of his passing.
Mike was the best friend a person could have! Growing up was so much easier when you were one of Mike's buddies. I can not count how many times his smile, laugh, and sense of humor made my life easier. He cared about everyone around him.
I can honestly say that I am a better person for knowing Michael. I am sad that he is no longer with us but I take some confort knowing that he is in a better place. Live each day to the fullest and take nothing forgranted. Even in death, I receive his positive message. I will carry on with this piece of knowledge that he has reminded of last December.
Rest in Peach Michael Patrick Sol. Thank you for all of the light you brough to my life and the lives of others! It still shines in your memory.

Mike you were a dear friend to us all, and you will be greatly missed by the Class of 1992. Our class just isn't the same without you!
I'll always remember your BIG smile, your jokes, and how you always had a hello for everyone. You will always be remembered.
Peace be with you,
Dimitra Hillman-Becker
