Mila lives in GSIS Village and so luckily I could carpool with her on parties. Her older brother drives us at that time.
It pained me to see her with her Mom, once upon a jeepney ride, she looks at me but does not recognize me. I heard her mom whisper something about her illness but failed to recognize me.
We look like a Mutt and Jeff walking.
Mila was one of those more affluent , kind human beings. She had the braces before it became popular.
I was very saddened to have heard of her passing, I remember and will never forget her as one of the kindest classmates I had in high school.
