Kenneth H. Schroeder, 43, of 2270 Valley Circle, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009.

Kenneth was born July 12, 1966, in Manitowoc, son of Howard and Jacqueline (Schuette) Schroeder. He attended Lincoln High School and was employed at various manufacturing companies in the Manitowoc area. Most recently he was self-employed as a landscaper.

Survivors include his parents: Howard and Jacqueline Schroeder, Manitowoc; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Yolanda Buechner, Manitowoc; Jayne and Joseph Downing, Manitowoc; Laura and Roger Ahnen, village of Howard; maternal aunts and uncles: Nancy Lee, Minneapolis; Mary Hebert, Manitowoc; JoAnn and Roger Thom, Florida; Karen and James Tuschel, Green Bay; maternal uncles and aunts: Ervin and Sharon Schuette, James Schuette, Robert and Clare Schuette, Gregory and Jane Schuette, Guy and Kathy Schuette and Betty Schuette, all of Manitowoc; paternal aunt and uncle: Althea and Jim Lentz, Texas; Daniel and Sherry Schroeder, Colorado. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and very special friends, Vicki and Jodie. Kenneth was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Erwin and Josephine (Graczykowski) Schuette; paternal grandparents: Ralph and Mathilda Schroeder; and two maternal uncles: Jerome Schuette and Kenneth Lee.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials would be appreciated to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Ken loved sharing his dreams with other people, the outdoors, his love for pets especially his last dog, named Pal. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his dad.
