A walking saint on earth, Dorothy was a volunteer extraordinaire. She provided direct care for her mother's final days.
Dorothy loved to laugh and was known for her kindness, generosity, and beautiful spirit by her many friends and relatives. She provided a safe, welcoming space for many children. A talented seamstress, she created dresses for her daughters and herself, sewed costumes, fixed and patched clothing for many, and fashioned quilts.
She will be missed by her devoted, loving husband of 55 years, LuVerne; cherished by her children Heddy (Shane) and Mindy, remembered by her grandchildren Demaris (Ben) and Trevor (Lizzli), and grieved by her siblings David, Diane (Chuck), Paul (Jan), John (Cynthia), Barb, Dale, and 13 nieces and nephews (Leif, Eric, Cora, Heather, Andrea, Marci, Tammy, Bette, Carl, Sarah, Amy, Jenny, and Cameron).
