Linda Diane (Hlavac) Kump passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, surrounded by family.
Services will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the service at Woodland Hills.
Linda was born on July 4, 1955 to Bill and Donna (Filzen) Hlavac in Northfield, Minnesota. She attended Holy Rosary Grade School and Good Counsel Academy. She was married to Leo Kump, Jr. and had two sons. They later divorced.
Linda worked various jobs but enjoyed her years at Shari Candies the most. She loved reading, jigsaw puzzles, word find books, watching the Vikings and spending time with her grandchildren, her family, her cat, Callie, and her "grand fur baby", Callista. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.
She is survived by sons, Leo Kump and Melody Doyle of St. Paul and Eric Kump of Mankato; mother, Donna Hlavac of Mankato; brothers Steve (Karen) Hlavac and Bill (Mary) Hlavac, both of North Mankato and sister, Bev (Michael) White of Mankato; grandchildren, Madison, Jordan, Timothy and Nickolaus; former daughter-in-law, Beth (Amos) Nelson; brothers- and sisters- in law; many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by father, William R. Hlavac; sister, Debby McGuire; paternal and maternal grandparents and by father- and mother-in-law, Edward and Dolores Niederkofler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
