I first met Louie in study hall at MSHS in 1966, my Junior year.  Louie was the kindest, most mellow person I remember from Mansfield Senior (except for Carolyn Scott), and could not help but like him.  Kim Yarmen, Louie and I would occassionly play chess together in study hall and it was a good time.

When I saw he had passed away on these profile pages, what I first thought of was Louie's very large, semi bald head with a huge, bright smile on his face.  Louie was always smiling, Louie was always big, Louie was a good and gentel man.

When I think of Louie I think of the actor that played the lead in the movie  "The Blind Side" being almost a twin to Louie Lindsay, in size, appearance and in personality - a good hearted, gentel person that was easy to like, the kind of person the world should have more of.
