Brian it was a shame to lose you at such a young age! I will always remember the great times we had playing football, and at practice! I will always remember the great times we had fishing! The memories are forever etched in my mind! You were really a good person and a smiling face! I guess it is true that only the good die young! May you Rest in Peace forever. I'm sure I see you again sooner or later! Your friend Dave
Brian was a great guy. He had such an easy-going, even temperament. I remember the first time I met him. We were about 8 or 9 years old (before he became a huge, big guy). We played a game of football in my neighbor's yard. When he was running with the ball, I stuck out my arm and made a lucky clothesline tackle that knocked him clear off his feet. I thought he was going to kill me! But, he just got up, dusted himself off, and said "great tackle". That was Brian and he always stayed that way. He was a guy that it was impossible not to like. God took him away much, much too soon. RIP, Brian!
I still think of Brian...what a shame to have lost someone so incredibly nice at such a young age. I remember being in Colorado on vacation when I heard about his passing. I remember hanging out in Perhach's with him...always so pleasant and friendly!! He will always be missed! Justine
I miss Hay Stack everyday! Those of us fortunate enough to have known him, especially us FA-Q guys drink to him every year. When I was on the road, and would come home and stop in Perhach's I would hear his voice over everybody's and would have the biggest bear hug from him until I couldn't breath. It was an honor to play football with him, actually, it was an honor to have known such an unselfish unconditionally loved person as Stackie.....
I still miss Brian. What a great guy! The best was when Brian and I had a lifesaving course in college together. Brian just sank to the bottom of the pool with all his muscle and I couldn't possibly carry him! So, I'd do hair pulls. He and I would laugh so hard that I'd almost drown from laughing! I could still see him in my mind pulling up to my house while I was washing my car calling out, "Dean...Hey! Dean!," with those bright pearly whites and jumping over to give me that big bear hug of his. I will always have a special place in my heart for Brian. Everyone loved Brian...he was so easy to love. How blessed we all were to have had him in our lives. Even though he was only here for a short time; he touched us forever. You are missed my friend.
I was kind of shy in high school. Brian would always say hi with a smile. A few years after we graduated I remember being at Wurlitzers (50"s bar) - Brian was there with Aron Pascavage and some other friends. Serena walked by Brian and we stopped to say hello. Brian didnt recognize me and when I told him who I was, he couldnt believe it. He said that he remembered me being shy and quiet and after a few drinks I was very talkative. He bought me a drink and we had a shot together. It was nice seeing him and he definitely had a very nice smile and a bear hug. Rest in peace Brian. Dolores aka dip or dippy
