Susan Heil Abernathy Frank is being announced as the winner of the MHS 2023 Alumni Award at the homecoming football game on Friday, October 6. She was thinking this might be an opportunity to have a reunion dinner on Saturday the 7th. Susan, with the alum office, is scouting out venues for this. We were thinking that Friday night, after the announcement at the game, we could go somewhere in Mariemont or close by to have a causal supper. 

Here are just a few of the many reasons Susan was chosen to receive this honor: 

She was on the Board and/or did work for Planned Parenthood, Emmanual community center in OTR (Over the Rhine), Winners Walk Talk program in OTR Elementary Schools, the Wellness Community, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the East Rowe Historic District in Newport, and the Cincinnati Parks foundation board. She helped with the founding of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and remains a docent there today.

Susan is president of the Terrace Park Historical Society and was named a Cincinnati Enquirer woman of the year in 2011.
