RACHEL ELIZABETH FLOURNOY, age 27, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Honolulu Hawaii. Her unexpected and premature death was from a heart attack. Rachel was born on June 30, 1983 in Marietta, Georgia. Rachel was a 2001 graduate of Marietta High School in the Joint Honors Enrollment Program with Kennesaw State University. She was a 2005 graduate of the University of Hawaii, Hilo, Hawaii. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta. She is survived by her parents, Judge Robert E. Flournoy, III and Julie Beazel Flournoy, her son, Jagger Lichtl, age 7, her brother, Trenton Flournoy and his wife McKenzie Flournoy, and her paternal grandmother, Elaray “Pam” Flournoy. She is also survived by her uncle, Matthew C. Flournoy and his wife Joanne Flournoy, her Aunt Gwynn Flournoy Ross and her husband James Ross, her Aunt Natalie Flournoy Boss and her Aunt Barbara Beazel. Rachel left a wonderful rich legacy through her son Jagger. Jagger was the love of her life. She considered being Jagger’s mother the highest calling and greatest accomplishment of her life.
