I was Chad's neighbor for many years in Chestnut Grove. Although we had your typical middle school boy/girl issues, he was a good kid with some family challenges. Their family was always kind, inviting, and friendly. I am so sorry that he was taken at such a young age. Hope his family is well.
My dad called me with news of Chad's death. Needless to say I was stunned and sadden. It wasn't until years later I found Jason Watson and he gave me the details of his death. The two people I felt closest too and remembered most often were Chad and Jason. We were in homeroom together and played tennis for SHS. Love you Chad and miss you dearly.
