Steve was my brother and he will be missed. I will miss his laugh his wonderful smile and his kind heart. Loved him so much it was a privilege to be his sister. As Steve often said. Love and Light....

Dear Susie, The world will miss Steve's grand smile and infectious laugh. I remember well those days that you and Steve rode with me on those trips to OSU. The world has lost a great man. May he help guard the gate until we get there to relieve him. May he Rest In Peace.

I'll will sure miss seeing Steve walking his dog down Maple Shade Dr. past our house and then back up Happy Lane in the back.  I would see and talk with him frequently and it was always a joy to share his jovial friendliness and interest in people.  It seemed like only days before he passed away that I saw him for the last time.  Both Sally and I are extremely sad.

Although I hadn't seen Steve in many years, I have fun memories of the times that Susie and Steve would come to the farm and we would spend summer afternoons playing.  Those days of being young and carefree will never be forgotten.  Love and prayers to Susie.  Nancy Whittington Remmele

Steve was a good friend to many people.  He and I didn't see each other often since I live in CA, but we always looked for each other at the MHS reunions and usually sat together.  I remember the summers during high school when we worked togerther on Oesterle's farm.   Steve had a joyfulness about him that lifted everybody up.   He was one of a kind and we will miss him.
