A couple of us in the class have been following the GMO situation and are interested in factual articles discussing new research concerning GMO foods and effects in plants, animals and humans.

This is a very highly charged topic with Monsanto and DuPont heavily invested in the continued "success" of GMO foods. In the United States Congress has been lobbied successfully by the food industry so that no labelling of GMO foods is necessary. Almost all your commercial corn products and soybean products are now manufactured from GMO seed. More and more commercial foods include other GMO produced products.
