Barbara was a very special lady.  She was smart, hardworking, easy to get too know and fun to be with.  Who can forget Barb and the girls dragging main in the “58” black Chevy that had untold miles from her parents visiting all those football games.  We had fun at KSU and all the years after.  She made this world a better place.  We will not forget you; we will miss you, SO sad!!! Barb was an amazing friend.  I was fortunate to have her as a friend in high school and then we roomed together at K State.  We shared plenty of times together and I remember her always being full of joy.  We continued to see each other when we lived in St. JOseph, MO and she was in KC.  She even threw my baby shower when our daughter was born.  Always the thoughtful, giving friend.  Barb, you will be dearly missed by many!

Barbara was a great friend and cousin to me from early on.  She was such a fighter and positive person and I think that's why she didn't give up and fought a great fight.  We will miss her but she is still in my heart and hope I'll see her again some day. God has a special angel now.
