Dennis R. Hett (May 12, 1947 – October 3, 2020) was beloved by many. His kindness and generosity inevitably left everyone he met feeling better about themselves. This is a picture from when he served at the East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church in Vermont. It was a time that he remembered fondly.

He is survived by his beloved wife Audrey Schneider, equally beloved son Ben Hett, and precious brothers Mel and Stan together with their families.

Due to COVID-19 his Celebration of Life will be a private. It will be streamed so those who love him can be with us in spirit. Details can be found on the mortuary website shown below..

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be sent either to St. Matthews’ Episcopal Church, 2325 S 24th St, Lincoln, NE 68502 or to the NAACP – Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest nonpartisan civil rights organization.
