James Allen Emery (1/13/1946-12/13/1989)

James Allen Emery, 43, 1324 Canaan Township Road 67, Edison, died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.

He was born in New Castle, Pa., Jan. 13, 1946, a son of Earl and Cecil Restoule Emery, who survive in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Emery was maintenance supervisor with the Whirlpool Corporation and a U. S. Air Force veteran. A graduate of Marion Catholic High School, he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

His wife, the former Carolyn Coulter, whome he married March 19, 1966, also survives, as do a son and daughter, Benjamin and Jennifer, at home; and two brothers, Claude Emery, North Bay, and George Emery, Chicago.

The services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Timson-Allen-Melroy Funeral Home, Caledonia, with Father Frederick Furey and the Rev. Alan Springer officiating. Burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where a prayer vigil will be held at 5:30 p.m.
