Harold Lloyd Emerson, Jr. (1/18/1945-3/3/1997)

 

Harold Emerson, 52, of Madisonville, Ky., died Monday, March 3, 1997, at 10:34 p.m. at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

Born Jan. 18, 1945 in Marion, Ohio, to the late Harold Lloyd Emerson and Mary Elizabeth Haubert Emerson, he was a logistics manager for Federal Civil Service.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Madisonville. He was also a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Emerson, of Madsionville; two daughters, Kirsten Alvarez of Arlington, Texas, and Julie Emerson of California; two sons, Tony Emerson of Maine and Greg Emerson of Utah; three sisters: Maggie Barry, Lori Columber, and Debbie Colegrove, all of Marion, Ohio; one brother, Ron January of Marion; and five grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Madisonville, with Bishop Tim Wiles and Elder Felshaw officiating.

Burial will be in the Waco Memorial park in Waco, Texas

Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
