Diane M. Millisor Freeman Fox (8/18/1945-2/4/2011)

Marion: Diane M. Freeman Fox, age 65, of Marion, Ohio, passed away peasefully, February 4, 2011 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio with her husband and her son at her side. 

She was born August 18, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to Harold "Fats" and Rita (Coffey Millisor.

Diane will be dearly missed by her husband and best friend of 35 years, Robert (Bob) Fox, her former spouse and friiend, Denver Freeman of Gypsum, her son, James (Sue) Freeman of Sandusky; step daughter, Kristi Fox (Lonnie) Foster of Marion; three grandchildren: Paul Freeman Mount of Columbus; Steven Foster of Marion; Heather Foster of Marion; two great gtandchildren, Jarryn and Cole Foster; her nine sisters and three brothers; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Sue Brown.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Millisor of Marion, sister Marguerite White of Caledonia.

Diane was a member of the V. F. W. Post 3313, and the American Legion Post 162 where she was employed for the last 18 years. She attended St. Mary Church.

Dianes' heart was full of love, and compassion and always giving; her soul was full of good, never judging. Diane without a doubt had many dear friends. She had a passion for cooking and baking as she always had something on the stove or in the oven. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dog, Molly, and decorationg for the different holidays. For many years Diane and Bob hosted a fourth of July party that brought family and friends together for a night of good food and entertainment, and many great memories.

Friday she earned her angel wings, and flew from this earth with the grace of a butterfly.

Family will receive friends 3-8 p. m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p. m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in the funeral home with Deacon Dwight Larcom celebrant. Family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
