On June 23, 1995, he married his bride Beckie R. Mauldin in Longview, Texas in Gregg County. They would later make their home in Bastrop, Texas.
Trent, as his classmates called him, departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in Austin, Texas.
A memorial service was held for him on May 16, 2009 at the Colonial Chapel of the Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. Later that day, he was laid to rest on the grounds of Colonial Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum in Marshall, Texas in Harrison County.
He is survived by his wife and their children, his father, his brothers and his sister.
His mother preceded him in death, and his father would passed away in 2010.
