VERONICA LYNNE GATSON RUBEN was born August 10, 1962 in Marshall, Texas. She attended schools in the Marshall Independent School District, and she was a classmate of the 1980 graduating class of Marshall Senior High School.
She was the bride of Andrew Ruben, Jr. whom she married on November 25, 1981.
While walking home together, Veronica and her husband both were victims of a fatal drunk driving incident.
They died on September 6, 2001, and a few days later they were laid to rest together on the grounds of Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Dallas, Texas in Dallas County.
