Dear Classmates,
Ive been searching online and trying to find Dick's obituary with no luck. So I decided to go to FB and see if Dick had an account there, which he did. I reached out to Mark Hall listed as a friend on FB and notified him. I recieved this message today from Mark, Dick's brother. ~ Karen
"Karen; Dick's Obit will first run on 12/13/19 for three days in the East Bay Times outside of San Francisco. I have attached an advance copy. Mark Hall"

Sorry to hear about Dick's passing. He was my next door neighbor, all through high school. A very nice guy. Smart and talented.

This is very sad news. Dick was a good classmate--smart, athletic and kind. We were also football teammates. My prayers are with his family. Steve Coon

I am very sad to hear of Dicks passing. We were friends in H.S. and partners on the football field. On occasion the competing high school would get our names and numbers, etc confused on the programs. He was a kind and intelligent person who valued his experinces in Marshalltown in later life. My thoughts go out to his family, he will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. We had been friends since Glick grade school. It was good to see him at our class reunions. He will be missed by the entire class of 1960.

It's always a sad day when we lose one of our most early friends in our life's journey! Dick was always a happy out going classmate that indeed went on to use his intellect in many ways. My condolences to his family! Glen Miller Werner
