Jane M. Ferguson, 57
Bettendorf - Jane M. Ferguson, 57, of Bettendorf died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at the Genesis Medical Center-East in Davenport.
There will be no services and the body has been cremated. Nelson Funeral Home-LeClaire was in charge of arrangements.
She was born on Feb. 22, 1942, in Marshalltown to Roy and (Ruth Hauser) Young. She was a manager at Hancock Fabrics for nine years and a department clerk at Hobby Lobby in Bettendorf.
Survivors include three sons, Michael of Bettendorf, Matthew of St. Charles, Ill. and Patrick of Bettendorf; two daughters, Nancy Fusselman of Bettendorf and Susan Wilhelm of LeClaire; two brothers, Thomas Young and Daniel Young, both of Marshalltown; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Jane and I were in the same shorthand class, and she dated a close friend of my next older brother. We became fairly well acquainted during that semester in shorthand, and I will forever remember her fondly as a sweet, fun friend. You're missed, Jane.
