Michael J. Yordy, 67, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Monday May 17, 2010 at the Des Moines Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Cremation rights were accorded.

Michael was born January 24, 1943 in Marshalltown to Fred and Janice (Barnhart) Yordy. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era. He was a self employed software developer.
Michael is survived by his mother; Janice Barnhart of Marshalltown, a brother, Chris Barnhart of Ankeny, IA, and a sister, Janelle Bowers of Longmont, CO. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred.
