I'm very saddened at Jim's passing. He was a very special teacher and a very special man. I was just thinking of him the other day.

On a sidenote, did you know that Jim ex-wife and my ex-husband live together?The world is small indeed, and you never know who you're going to run into or what's going to happen.

Hi All.

Simon and I are in the process of moving from our house of fifty years, with 29 steps, to a single level condo. It is horrendous. Neither one of us want to do this, but we know it is the right thing to do. On May 21, I had my first surgery. I had a bone removed from my right thumb. I was in a cast for six weeks. I could do nothing with my right hand. Lefty and Simon had to do it all. So now, cast is off and I am in therapy to restore use. Typing is such a challenge.

So, back to my original topic of tossing almost all possessions. I need to hear what others have done. My children all live in very small spaces and have room for very little. Also, children don't seem to want Grannie's old furniture.

I sold my beautiful bike, but I ride an electric one now, when I ride. Seems like all I do is cull stuff. j

PM Kindergartners Old Woodbury, Miss Buchanan's Class

I have a photo taken of the afternoon kindergarten class at the old Woodbury school...Miss Buchanan's class. It is very poor quality...I have been able to identify about half of the students...Virginia Meling, Paul Jensen, myself, Larry Ross, Larry Zednacheck, Terry Peak, Jon Ward, Sally Ward, Jerry Gazaway and Bonnie Uhde. As a scrapbooker, I am very frustrated that my mom and I did not identify the students at the time. If you were in the class, please let me know and I will try to figure out which you are. I will be happy to share copies of the picture to anyone who would like one...again the quality is very poor.

I also have a first grade class photograph of Mrs. Brasch's class. I am able to identify a few more out of this class but still have several unidentified. Those identified are Gary Lurvey, John Reiseter, Larry Ross, Terry Peak, Kenny Swartz, Vern Lang, Jayne Bliss(Nodland), Pam Morey, Sandra Daniels,myself, Virginia Meling, Paul Jensen, Jim Eggers, Jon Ward, Sandra Johnson, Betty Flower, Patty Uhde and Linda Smith.

If you were in that class could you let me know so I can try to identify you...again I would be happy to share a copy of this photo with class members.
