Kim Younge Youker

I guess after high school I really still didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up.... and still don't..:) I went to MCC for a year and then to DMACC-I guess I thought broadcast journalism sounded like fun....aaahhh, not really, you see I've got a phobia of public speaking-nice huh?! Well, that led me back to Marshalltown to IVCCD and the EMT classes. I started at the hospital in 1981 and the rest is Hx... Still here and I really like my job. Has it's moments, (see it all and done it all) but the adrenaline rushes keep me here. Maybe someday I'll grow up and move on, but for now I'm Happy :)!!!!! My husband and I enjoy going on week-enders and week long motorcycle trips. I'm planning on getting my motorcycle license this spring-maybe my own bike someday!
