We had some strange teachers at Lenihan too!  Mr. Carlson was our Science teacher!  He was quite hippy-ish, WAY into science.  One time, I don't know exactly what I did to make him mad, maybe blowing a bubble with my gum that I wasn't supposed to be chewing.  But, I had overalls on that day.  I was a BIT smaller then!  He hung me on a hook by my overalls!  Does anyone remember that?  How embarrassing!  Not that that was the only embarrassing moment of my life, but gees!

Then there's the library!  Mrs. Wiese!  I always had to be secluded into a cubicle!  Assigned seating in  the libary!  How obsurd!  I'm sure I wasn't the only one talking!?

Every now and then I run across this pile of pictures from a 50's dance we had in the gym at Lenihan.  I don't know exactly what that was for!  But the pictures are great!  Art Kosieradzki, Shane Walgamuth, Tami Davis, Sara Wolken ~ you guys come to mind in those pictures!  Poodle skirts, slick hair, rolled up sleeves and jeans.  We wore our cheerleading shoes for saddle shoes!  Why did we have that dance?
