Patricia L. Morgan “Pat” passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10th 2022 at Deerfield Retirement Home in Urbandale IA. She was 84 years old.

Pat was born March 17, 1938 in Marshalltown, IA to Richard and Gladys Robovsky. She graduated from Marshalltown High School and moved to Greeley Colorado to attend the University of Northern Colorado. It was at the UNC education program that Pat met the love of her life, Don Morgan.

Upon graduation the happy couple married in Boulder, CO. They resided in Denver and Casper, WY for Don’s job prior to making West Des Moines, IA home, where they raised two healthy and beautiful kids.

Pat was a retired bank teller from Des Moines Savings (Bank of the West) where she was fondly nicknamed “Mother Superior” by her coworkers. Pat was an avid gardener and a longtime member of the Des Moines Garden Club. In her free time she enjoyed reading, playing bridge, and building custom homes for Don’s disability. She was very proud of the work that she put into these houses as she cared for Don as his disease limited his mobility. Pat was a dedicated wife to Don, acting not only as a wife, but a full time caregiver, and the best Mom any child could ask for. She lived a full, happy life with wonderful friends and an adoring family and will be missed more than words can describe.

Pat is survived by her son, Chad Morgan, his wife Carrie and their children Sam (Karen) and Claire of West Des Moines, IA. Her daughter, Jody (Morgan) Priscilla, her husband Steve and their son Reid of Denver, CO.

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband Don Morgan, brother Bobby Robovsky and sister Betty Smith of Phoenix, AZ.

Visitation with the family will be held at Iles Funeral Homes Westover Chapel at 6337 Hickman Rd, Des Moines from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022
