I recently picked up my 1961 yearbook and found where Judy had written about her fond memories of our first contact and the fun we had at Brooklyn School. She, Rosemary Eastes, Dixie Hunter, Leah Babbit and I were inseparable in those two years. We held very competitive jacks tournaments. We spent nights at each other's houses frequently. We remained close during our first couple of years in high school, along with Sue Pauley. Different classes and interests separated us somewhat but those girls will all be in my heart forever. The day after I heard of Judy's passing, the song "We'll Meet Again" began playing at Starbucks and I burst out in tears--it was as if I had just lost another jacks round to her. I truly hope we will meet again, Judy.
