Remembering Butch from our Farm Shop and Poston Road elementary days. We played sandlot baseball at Victory Park and Little League and Babe Ruth together. We were also members of the same Boy Scout Troop along with Mike Neal, Phil Cox, Mike Redmond, Vernon Brown, Steve Cordes and (? others) from our class. Butch became and Eagle scout. I recall he and his father built a Soap Box Derby racer. It was a really cool car compared to the wagon wheeled, juice can headlighted, rope steering pushmobiles I constructed. He was seated to my right at our high school graduation, Kenny Barrett on my left.

When the Lord calls our classmates home, he leaves a giftt of memories in exchange. Peace be with you, Butch.

Too many have gone far too soon amd Butch is just one of them. It doesn't seem right to lose so many we know so early.
