Tom Marple

Enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps July and 1966.
Attended Vietnamese Language School at US Department of State February 1967 to December 1967.
January 1968 assigned to 1st Interpreter Team HQCO HQBN 1st Marine Division Danang RVN. 1st Interpreter Team provided all of the interpreters for the 1sr Marine Division. I was sent to 1st Battalion 5th Marines in early February 1968 just before they entered Hue City during the Tet of 1968. Stayed with 5th Marines for most of the next 12 months. February 1969 Discharged from Marines.
Sept 1969-1971 Attended Purdue University graduating May 1971.
1973 - 2005 Employed at U.S Department of Labor. During my tenure I held positions in the following locations: Detroit, MI; Dallas, TX; Honolulu, HI; Chicago, IL; Wichita, KS; and Washington D.C.
2005 Retired Colorado Springs, CO.
2009 Relocated to Bend, OR.
2026 still here in Bend.
