Linda M. Martin-Tinsley, 77, passed away Saturday October 26, 2024 at her home in Paragon.

She was born Monday, June 23, 1947 to the late James A. and Clara Martha (Derrick) Godsey in Church Hill, Tennessee. On November 22, 1990, she married her husband, Johnny Tinsley.

Linda was a Martinsville High School graduate. She worked as a real estate agent for many years. Linda was a very dedicated member of the Family of God Church. She read her Bible daily and was always sharing scriptures to her family and friends. Linda also enjoyed spending time with her family and their many get-togethers.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Tinsley; sons, Michael Douglas “Mike” Martin and wife Paula, Jim Martin and wife Shelley, Jason E. Martin and wife Terri; stepsons, Damon Tinsley and wife Melissa, Jeremiah Tinsley; stepdaughters, Angela Green and husband Kenny, Sunshine Hodge and husband Damon, Tobi Tinsley; grandchildren, Cody Martin and wife Sarah, Mackenzie Martin, Steve (bubby) Wangler and wife Ashley, Heather Fisher and husband Jake, Brandy Oniyide and husband Mobolaji, Justin Wieble and wife Melanie, Samuel Martin, Melanie Martin, Conner Tinsley, Andre Green, Anthony Green, India Green, Zakaya Green, Zion Green, Damon Hodge, Jamira Hodge, Joya Hodge, Reina Tinsley, Michael Moore, Malakai Tinsley, Miracle Tinsley; 10 great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara; grandson, Elijah Martin; brother, James Charles “Charley” Godsey; sister, Angela Godsey.

Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024 at Family of God Church, 2018 State Road 67, Spencer, Indiana 47460. There will be two hours of visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m.

Linda will be laid to rest at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon.
