Garry Dale Peverall, 54, of Martinsville, Va., died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his home in Rich Acres.

Born on June 3, 1960, he was the son of James E. Peverall, Sr. of Martinsville, Va. and the late Juanita F. Peverall.

He was the owner of Peverall Supply Co. in Martinsville, Va. for thirty years.

He is survived by his brother, James E. Peverall, Jr., of Martinsville Va.; and two sisters, Kimberly P. Ford (John), of Martinsville, Va., and Carol D. Ward (Joe), of Chesterfield, Va.

He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Frances “Katy” Koger (Yannick), of Henrico, Va., Jamie Lee Burkhead and Brandon T. Ford, both of Martinsville, Va., Jessica D. Ward and Samantha J. Ward, both of Chesterfield, Va. He is also survived by his grand-nieces, Ellie James Koger and Evelyn Grace Koger, both of Henrico, Va.

Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory, Martinsville, Va. served the Peverall family.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 24, 2014, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel with Minister Tim Hunt officiating. Burial followed at Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville, Va.

Pallbearers were John E. Ford, II, W. Joseph Ward, Frances “Katy” Koger, Jamie Lee Burkhead, Brandon T. Ford, Jessica D. Ward and Samantha J. Ward.
