Margaret Johnson Reynolds
Margaret Ann Reynolds, 59, of Martinsville, passed away April 10, 2019. She was born on February 23, 1960 to the late Johnny and Margaret Thomas Johnson.

She was a member of Divine Faith Holiness Church, where she loved attending and worshiping her God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Washington, Valerie L. Miller and Jackie Hughes; brother, Harold Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Erica Reynolds and Marcie Reynolds, sister, Angela M. Larry; three brothers, James B. Miller, Johnny L. Johnson and Bishop Donnell D. Miller; four grandchildren, Jamarius Reynolds, Jaliyah Reynolds, Ya’niya Reynolds, Ya’mauria Reynolds and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration Service will be Sunday, April 14, 2019, at :300 PM at Refuge Temple Ministry. The family will receive friends 1/2 hour prior to service. Burial will be at Fair Haven Memorial Park.

A message has been sent out to the Martinsville High School Class of '78.

"Dear Classmates,

Margaret Johnson Reynolds died early Thursday morning from diabetic and coronary complications after her health started declining years ago. Connie Gravely had been contacted by Delphine Roberts, who asked that this information be shared with classmates from high school.

I contacted Delphine yesterday afternoon, who provided these details:

Visitation will be held in the home of Margaret's eldest daughter, Erica Reynolds at 908 Forest Lake Drive, off Rives Road, in Martinsville. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 (tomorrow) at Refuge Temple Ministries at 205 Clearview Drive, across from the old Midget Market. Viewing will be prior to the funeral service beginning at 2:30 pm.

The obituary will appear later online at Wright Funeral Service's website. Margaret attended Divine Faith Holiness Church on Fayette Street.

Deborah Davis Penn, another of our classmates, will be assisting with the memorial at Refuge Temple Ministries. She told me she welcomes anybody to call her if they would like to share their memories of Margaret's life. Her cell phone number is (276) 806-2632. It would be helpful for her to hear these memories sometime today so that she can be mindful of them as she honors our friend.

I will end this email by noting that Margaret has gone into Glory right before the Holy Week of Easter, when the resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated. We are reminded that He died for our sins, and has ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God, His Father. We are greatly loved, and He has gone before us to prepare a place for us to live with Him eternally.

John 11:25-26: "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

I don't remember much about Margaret myself, and it seems from the people I have spoken with about her, that Margaret was very much loved, and that she knew and loved Jesus as her beloved Savior."
