MICHAEL MCGEE OBITUARY

Michael Edward McGee, age 63, of Galax, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Michael was born in Martinsville, Virginia, on August 12, 1959, to Eugene and Lillian Gertrude Nelson McGee.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather McGee of Charlotte, North Carolina; son, Robert McGee of Martinsville, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Lynn and Brad Case of Mayodan, North Carolina, and Penny and William Martin of Martinsville, Virginia; several special cousins; and special friend, Phyllis Roberts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Vaughan- Guynn Chapel with Pastor Casey McKenna officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
