Timothy Lee Harrison, 57, of Collinsville, VA passed away peacefully, after a two-year battle with ALS, on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at his home. He was born on March 24, 1960 in Martinsville, VA, to Audrey McGuire and the late Tilman Harrison.
Tim was a graduate of Martinsville High School and attended Patrick Henry Community College. He had been employed by Eastman Chemical/Commonwealth Laminating & Coating for 11 years as Supply Chain Manager, Bassett Walker for 22 years, Active Wear, Liberty Embroidery, and Liberty Hardware Manufacturing. In his spare time he loved to fish. Tim's life was a perfect reflection of 2 Timothy 4:7: " I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith."
In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his wife, Pamela Barbour Harrison; daughter, Amber Harrison; son, Brad Harrison; sisters, Deloris Harrison, and Stacey Taylor; brothers, Todd Manning, Brian McGuire, and Kenny McGuire; and two grandchildren, Maya Walker and Maci Harrison.
The funeral will be Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 6 p.m., at Stone Memorial Christian Church, Collinsville, VA with Minister Tim Wood officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
