Brett Wayne Kidd, 63, of Martinsville VA passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  He was born July 18, 1960, in Rocky Mount VA to the late James Milton Kidd and Ersie Isley Kidd.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Richards; and brothers, Bobby Ray Kidd and Herbert Douglas Kidd.

Brett was a member of Trinity Friends Church and was the owner of a lawn care business.  He really enjoyed mowing lawns, being outdoors, and crossword puzzles.  He was known to tell jokes and loved having fun and making people laugh.  His family and friends were very special to him.

He is survived by his wife Debra Jane Gee Kidd; sister, Kay Hammock; special niece, Lisa Weatherly (Scott); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be helf Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at Trinity Friends Church with Pastor Ron Hill, officiating.  Visitation will be one half hour prior to service
