Jerry Turk was born on September 11, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Joseph and Margerett Turk. Jerry was a past state commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars, 2000/2001 past post commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars 2426, and past district 8 commander, past national youth chairman of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Jerry passed away in his home on May 25, 2025, at the age of 78. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers Jim and David Turk. 

Jerry is survived by:

Wife: Valerie Turk

Son: Jeff Belvins and wife Miriam

Daughters: Kendra Summers, McKenzi Turk, Theresa Blevins-Leblanc, and Tammy Blevins

Brother: Joe Turk

Grandchildren: Nylah Summers, Uzane Robinson, Neziah Robinson, and Emerald Quinn Blevins, Nathan Blagg, Shane Blagg, Samantha Blagg, Chase Blagg, Jesse Turk Blagg, James Blagg, Cynda Blagg, Scout Blagg, Phoenix Johnson, and Maddox Johnson

Several friends and family also survive.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025, from 11am until the service at 1pm at Coplin Funeral Home in Park Hills, Missouri. Coplin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
