Gregory Bryson Ayers, 59, of Huntington Beach, died Sept. 27, 2001, at West Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim. Born in Los Angeles. he was a former Yuba-Sutter resident before settling in Huntington Beach 32 years ago. He was a graduate of Marysville High School, Yuba College and Sacramento State College.

He was the owner of Raynel Company in Costa Mesa for 18 years and formerly worked for the Kaiser Stell Corp. for 20 years. In addition, he was a member of the Mesa Verde Country Club in Costa Mesa.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Maddox Ayers of Huntington Beach; two sons, David Bryan Ayers and Daryl Gregory Ayers, both of Huntington Beach; and a daughter, Debra Louise Ayers of Couer d'Alene, Idaho.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Services: Servives have been held under yhe direction of Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar. Burial was in Pacific View Memorial Park.
