Friends, if you would please say a prayer for my daughter Emily and the baby she's carrying, I would appreciate it. She is almost 13 weeks along and had to go to the ER after experiencing some bleeding a little while ago. Her checkup last week showed everything progressing normally so I'm trying to stay hopeful. Thanks.

Hey all you Royals/Bulldogs. Don't forget the Eagleton Reunion the 18th of July. Several of us are going, not sure what time yet. It is from 2 until 5:00. Go on the eagleton reunion website and sign in. Hope to see you there, especially you guys from out of town we don't get to see very often try and get there. I have never been to one for Eagleton, am looking forward to it.

Hi to all.

Hope that everyone has a Happy 4th. Bless all of our troops that are here and far away. Bless all of our vets. God Bless America!!

I need to ask for a prayer request.

My brother Bill is very sick and is fighting for his life. He is a 1969 graduate.

The Friday before Memorial Day he went to the hospital in Portland, Oregon, to have a small tumor removed from his tummy. It turned out to be very large. They had to remove 1/2 of his tummy, a portion of his spleen and pancreas, and 2 inches of his esophagus. He has been in the hospital ever since that time.

He has had many complications from this surgery. He is now back in ICU for the 4th time. He had to have another surgery to have the esophagus detached from his tummy.

Brother Bill is on dialysis and has a breathing tube.

If y'all can take a moment to remember this kind gentle soul in your prayers, I will be eternally grateful.

Thank you,
Cindy

Haven't checked this site in over a week or so.... Linda Albert's daughter & Cindy Gibson's brother are immediately going on my prayer list. Please keep us posted...this life has so many blessings & happiness, but unfortunately has so many trials. I just thank God that Christians get to not only look forward to an eternal life WITHOUT the trials, but also get to spend it with saved loved ones who have gone on before us.

Looking forward to the Eagleton reunion!!!! We all have to sit together class of '73! I think Diane W.W. has invited all of us over for a big dinner. haha...okay, maybe not. Diane - I can't wait to see little Lydia!

Cindy, Bill (and your family) is definitely in my prayers. Please send updates when you can.

We've seen first-hand how the prayers of our Christian friends help when there are trials we have to experience. I'm very thankful to everyone who lifted Emily and the baby up. The bleeding had completely stopped after the critical 48-hour period when she had to be totally off her feet, then she spotted just a small amount when she started walking around again. It's stopped, now, too. She will see her OB/GYN this afternoon, so I'll keep you posted. The hardest thing is for her to remember not to pick Ellie up, but so far, she's done really well.

Great news. Emily went to her regular doctor today. She posted this update on Facebook:

Emily Effler had a doctor's appt. today - baby's heartbeat is great, and the doctor believes everything will probably be fine and heal on its own. And no more bedrest! Great news - thank you GOD! Thanks everybody for your prayers!

Oh, yes, in case you're wondering, she called me on the way home from the doctor - I didn't just happen to find out after checking Facebook! Just wanted to give you the update from the horse's mouth! Exclamation marks and all!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Linda - great news about Emily and the Baby!

Cindy - still have you and Billy in my prayers!

Pokey - It was great seeing you yesterday. You always seem to lift up my spirits!

Please pray for Kenneth's father, Mr. Leslie Baker, he was admitted this morning at Blount Memorial. He fell last night and seems to be unable to care for himself. He is 84 and still kicking - just not so high today!

I have to go to the library - Nice Library by the way - because the cable companies can't decide who is going to service the new area we moved into out here on Tiffany Way! They should know by the end of July!!!!! So I am forced to do without internet or go to the library. I love the library - always a fun place! Yes, I know, I am a little weird in that way!

All my Everett friends take care, and remember God is with us all the way! Love you all! Sandy
