Joanie Dilbon Zima

Moved back to hometown of Jacksonville, Florida in 1975. Married in 1977 and both children were born in Jacksonville. Worked for GAB/ITS from 1973 (Knoxville) and transferred to Jacksonville. Stayed as Branch Secretary, ITS Division until 1995. Purchased house in Maggie Valley in 1993 and moved to Maggie Valley in 1995. Worked at Haywood County Child Support as Enforcement Agent until 2007 before becoming disabled. Now I am a grandmother of five and wish I would have had them first - lol. Oldest grandson is Rex-22, Raquel 15, Taylor 9, Allison 3, Emily 2.

I wished I would have known more people. It was difficult moving to Tennessee from Jacksonville in high school days. I was much more shy than I am now and didn't get to know the people I wish I had. I did have a few good friends though. I just can't remember their names. I came back to Jacksonville for one of our reunions and went to school with most of these people all of my life and didn't remember many of them either.
