A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel in Mason City, with visitation from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.

Memorials may be directed to the Davis family in care of his children.

Jeff was born on June 26, 1971, to Cliff and Peg Davis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jeff got along with everyone, from newborn babies to elderly people. He could communicate with all ages. He loved life, his family and many friends.

Jeff loved sports, he played in the summer neighborhood baseball games. He ended up being one of the best pitchers of all the teams and his last year ended up sharing first place with the highest scoring team of the year. He also played football and was a natural at that as well. But wrestling was his most beloved sport. He went to state his senior year. Long story short, because of a certain referee he didn't get a chance to advance like he was supposed to. That's not just a mothers' opinion but his coaches and sports directors' as well. He attended and graduated Mason City High School in 1990. For the last 15 years, he worked for South Graham Manufacturing.

Jeff was a loving and dedicated single father. He worked hard to instill great qualities in his children like honesty, loyalty, work ethic, love and respect. He was a hard working man who did everything he could for the good of his family. There is a saying that's very true for Jeff, "Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy."

He was taken from us too soon. He will be greatly missed by family and his many friends from years ago to new friends of today.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Peg and Cliff Davis of Mason City, brother, Scott (Missy) Davis of Mason City, five children: Jefferson T and Joslyn A Davis (Mother Teresa Bergan), Kate F, Annie R, and Danny S Winters-Davis (Mother Rachel Winters), and special friend Nikki Sheriff and her two sons, Marcus and Max, all of who loved him dearly.
