Susan Marie Reynolds, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 9, 2024 at her home.

A service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401 with Mark Doebel officiating.

Susan was born on March 9, 1975 in Emmetsburg, IA to Richard and Verla (Nissen) Grisham.

In 1993 Susan graduated from Mason City High School and went on to attend college for her Arts degree. In June of 1999 Susan and Derek Reynolds at Grant Park in Galena, IL, were united in marriage, from this union three children were born Anastasia, Chandler and Brennen.

Susan was often found crafting, crocheting, gardening, reading, doing puzzles, collecting oil lamps, trinkets and Tweety Bird. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her children. Susan was a natural mom, she talked about her children constantly, always so proud of them.

Those left to cherish Susan’s memory are her children Anastasia Reynolds and her partner DIllon, Chandler (Jenna) Reynolds, Gage Perez-Reynolds and Pia Slater; parents Rich and Verla Grisham; siblings Dixie True, Benjamin Grisham and Gordon Grisham; nieces and nephews Zoey True, Conner True, Addison Grisham and Ethan Hill, as well as many extended family members.

Susan is preceded in death by her son Brennen Reynolds; grandparents Gordon and Maxine Grisham and Clifford and Lucille Nissen.
