Eugene Diaco, 58, Milford MA, died unexpectedly by cardiac arrest on a business trip in Somerset, England. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Peter Diaco and Frances (Zangara) Marsh of Monroe Township, NJ. He is survived by his wife of (12) years, Luisa Ana (Gonzalez) Diaco ; (3) daughters, Michelle Diaco of Kent, OH, Laura Diaco of Athens, OH, and Ginnette Gonzalez-Diaco of Milford, MA.; (1) stepson, Juan Gonzalez-Rauen of Milford, MA.; (3) brothers, Robert Diaco of Center Underhill, VT., Peter Diaco of Scarborough, ME., and John Diaco of Rochester, NH as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Diaco was employed at The Clarks Companies, N.A.in Newton Uppper Falls, MA. where he worked as a shoe engineer for the past (12) years and served as Vice President of Women's Product Development for the past (2) years. He had worked in the shoe business for (35) years and learned the trade from his father. His funeral will be held from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on Wednesday morning (March 20th) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:30AM-11:30AM just prior to his funeral Mass. A committal service will be held on Monday (March 25) at 1:00PM in St. John's Cemetery West Street (Route 68) Gardner, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his late memory to the St. Mary's Church Beautification Fund, c/o St. Mary's Church Offices, 17 Winter Street, Milford MA 01757.
